Tired if your holos looking really bland?
Well.... to me this is bland looking. But anyway, this is the way I do my holos (well, for right now... I'm still working on the ULTIMATLY perfect holo. This is close to perfect.)
First when you've got your holo pasted onto your image,
make a Duplicate of the holo layer, so that you have two holo layers. (You should know how to duplicate layers by now).
Next, take the top most Holo layer, and adjust the Layer blending settings to "Color Dodge", and set the opacity at 75%. This will allow the holo circles to be bright, as if it is reflecting the scanner's light.
Then, take the bottom Holo layer, and adjust the Layer blending settings to "Multiply", and set the opacity to 46%. This will make the dark parts of the holo less dark, allowing the background to be seen, but not by too much so that it still looks like a chrome-ish holo foil.
Now together, the layer settings produce a really keen hologramic effect, as if the card was actually scanned into the computer.
It should looks something like that. ... Cool, huh? ;)
